You can tell its going to be one of those days when 1. you just miss a train, and 2. you forget to bring your work pass with you!
In my defense though the train was a slightly earlier one than I usually get, although it did mean spending 10 minutes standing on a freezing cold platfom! As for forgetting my pass, its not entirely my fault for being forgetful! My bag broke on Friday, while wandering around near Charing Cross station! I don't mean completely split but the strap broke making the use of the bag impossible!! The only bag I have for use at the moment is a small black going out one!! Its not really big enough to hold every day stuff and nor is it compartmentalised! My old bag, I had one zipped bit for purse phone, ipod, keys, my pass was kept in a separated zipped part and my oyster card and train ticket in a third compartment! This meant I knew where everything was when I needed it! It was onlky natural for me to forget to look in one of these compartments when transferring everything to the little bag! Not that it would have fitted in anyway!!
So now I am at work, having had to sign in (although they didn't really ask for proof that I work here which I find quite worrying to be honest!) and I will have to get the security guard downstairs to let me in and out!
This week I have to somehow apply myself and get an assignment done and sent off by Thursday at 9am, and revise for my assessment which is next Tuesday morning! With any luck though, in 2 weeks I should be entitled to a pay rise
With much study and revision to do this week, I have one bright shining moment to look forward to... little sis is 21 on Friday
We are going out to dinner on Saturday to celebrate, and I also have a hair appointment on Saturday
I am having Foils (Three colours!!) and a cut and blow dry
I am really looking forward to it as I haven't had my hair done in ages ![]()
Well I guess I really should get down to things and work
