I can't wait to learn them! When I get my pole I'm going to start online lessons along side my classes
I'm too impatient and want to run before I can walk! Lol.

By all means try but don't forget to be careful! There are reasons that a lot of these moves are taught in later levels and its all to do with strength. Remember you're supporting your own body weight!! Make sure you use cushions if you try

Oh yeah, of course I will! I don't want to learning impossible things I just want to learn different things alongside my lessons. Theres such a fine line between moves that are determined "beginner" or "intermediate" that they can all really be learned at the same time - eg. you learned the eagle before your V Sit - we have done the V Sit before the eagle.....it ends up being instructor preference and when some people (well now it's just 1 girl!) in your class can't even get upside down it does kind of limit what your instructor wants to teach you

I may even get the air-bed out and use it as a crash mat! Haha!

Yeah and a lot of people don't get that! There are so many people in my school who will move on without being told they could and end up looking rubbish because they're not strong enough to do the moves properly! Because we have set things to learn across the level we have to get approval to move on so we don't get!
Our advanced moves all tend to be moves using the splits which I can't quite do so I need to get stretching before I go there!
Still think we need a pole jam blog meet!!!!!

I know its a bit crappy... but I had a cunning plan where I posted the crappy video and some whizkid sees it and is convinced they can do something and voila! A good video...
The plan has worked a little so far

Every Windows PC has Windows Movie Maker, playing around with the video might make it a little brighter, I could try if you wanted?
