I had an absolutely lovely walk over Blackfriars bridge this morning! It was already hot by the time I got to the train station but a nice temperature... the kind you'd feel sitting in the wind by the sea, lovely! I am now sat in my office however, wishing I could be on a beach somewhere :roll: I can't even head that way this weekend as D is working :roll:

I made a comment on facebook last night, about how I was trying to cool down, lying on my bed with the fan blasting at me. Big Sis decided I was exagerating! But no, it is hot! I know its not quite mediterranean hot but it is soooo much hotter here than we are used to! I have also noticed people complaining about the "sensible" advice about drinking water and staying out of the hot sun etc.... I know most of us are sensible but don't they realise that people can be that stupid?!

Lst night I did an "American" theme for my guides... they cooked sausages on BBQs which went really well, they learnt an "American" dance (ok it was Miley Cyrus's Hoedown Throwdown but it was still country music) they played "American States" Hangman, ate American Muffins, cookies and Doritos, and made up a small display :) It was good, but such a shame I only have 3 girls now :( I have an article coming out in the parish newsletter on Friday so hopefully we will get some interest from this :)

Anyhoo my cctv camera is still playing up, which is annoying, I am feeling very strangely light headed, I have just eaten a chewee bar that decided to tell me a "woweee fact" (It would take 150 years to drive to the sun if you could) and I really suppose I should get to work :roll:
