Its baking outside! Even more so now I think than when I left at 11.30 and even more so than when I was stood down the road from Tower Bridge at 12.15-1.15! I may have got a little burnt though! I think I was quite lucky. I had a little shade to stand in, there was a nice breeze and the hour went quickly. I've now just got back in the office and have a little while before I need to work again as I'm having lunch 
I can't say I have been as glad to get back in the office than I was just now! I stopped off at Waterloo to get some lunch, and walked back to the office in Southwark. The heat was oppresive and the office invitingly cool!
I shall now relax with my baguette and cold water after a sizeable chunk of my day has been used up, knowing its not too long til I can leave
