Yeah it is
Especially annoying after Ferrari weren't penalised for a dangerous pit release last time!!
The pit realease WAS deemed to be dangerous. I don't think a penalty was applied- maybe we'll see financial implications. This, however, I think is fair. Hamilton DID get an advantage from cutting the bus stop. He didn't exactly yield that far behind Raikkonnen, and although his win was dramatic, it wasn't exactly deserved.
I don't get the fuss with Hamilton anyway. We could strap my nan in a McLaren and she'd set some lap records!
It may well have been deemed dangerous but my point is had it been any other team the penalty would have been imposed immediately. Plus the fact I searched the web hours after that race and couldn't find a thing.
Also had it been a ferrari overtaking, giving the place back and then overtaken again you can almost guarantee that they'd have been said to follow the rules properly as he gave the place back.
And as for Hamilton, well his team mate in the same car, couldn't make it anywhere near Hamilton, so maybe the car is good but I doubt your nan would have got anywhere close.... however if you'd said put her in a ferrari, I may have agreed with you
And it was a deserved win, Raikkonnedn would still have spun whether Hamilton had overtaken or not, that was nothing to do with him!! But it was Hamilton who managed to keep it together and go on to win!
Quite right. Raikkonen span off entirely regardless of Hamilton. And let's not forget Raikkonen forced him out moments earlier, too - legally, I know, but no less sporting under dangerous conditions.
It's a bloody RACE, anyway - and Hamilton won it!
Yes yes!! And he won it in style and deserved the win! Not many people are able to drive in the rain like him!
That makes my blood boil.
The FIA have obviously got it in for anyone who doesn't drive a red car.
Maybe the FIA themselves should be investigated, because they certainly don't seem to be applying the same rules across the board.
I am soooo glad I am not the only one here with this opinon!!
Its all to do with money and the fact that ferrari have threatened to take theirs away and start up a rival thing (Or something). Maybe its time people remembered that not too long ago Ferraris were also rans and F1 did just fine with that!!!
Bah!! I think the FIA should just let them go, I think there are many people who are fed up with their stangle hold!!
