Last night it took me 2 and a half hours to get home nearly!! I got to Blackfriars only to find that the trains hadn't been running through London all afternoon due to an overhead power lines failure at Kentish Town. Bizarrely though, trains were still going from Moorgate (3 stops before Kentish town!!) So I hopped on a circle line train (suffering delays too) and went to moorgate. I almost went to Victoria and then up to St Pancras but I am glad I didn't. The train I got on started at moorgate and I was lucky to get a seat there!!!! I would possibly have died if I'd had to stand :)) But it was so hot and airless:( quite a contrast to this morning where its been a bit chilly :))

I had been a bit concerned that the trains may not be running properly this morning but everything was ok!!

Lesson learned.... check trains before travelling XX( :))
