Its Summery!! Again!!

by louisa-outram @ 07.05.2008 - 09:20:37

So I had to dress accordingly :) I was going to have a mini rant about men and leering and work clothes but now I really can't be arsed!! Its too nice a day and I am in too good a mood for that :)) (seriously some men.... its a wonder women wear anything more revealing than a sack to work :)))

And its Wednesday... 2 more working days after this until another jam packed weekend!!

Can't wait ;)

We can't help it. It's genetic.

Well I'm not going to boil in huge clothes just because men have a genetic problem :))

I don't have a problem with women wearing fewer clothes in summer.

OK, yes I look - because I am not dead - but I never lear or oggle. I would hate to make anyone feel uncomfortable.

And I am actually being serious. People have a right to wear what they want and sometimes I see the way some blokes behave around a cleavage or a short skirt and I just want to punch them.

But I don't, coz I is a wimp. And a coward.

Hey Lulu, men are visually stimulated. They look at things. As a woman, you are just going to have to deal with it! POLITE men will not oogle your cleavage or thighs, you just need to realise that there are a lot of men who are impolite out there (women too but that's another story!).
Just don't wear a top that is too low cut or a skirt cut too high, and you'll be fine. And take a cardy to wrap around the offending part ;)

Aren't there any options for women to wear light, cool clothing without having to do the whole short skirt, little top thing? (and I don't mean that to sound anything other than politely curious :) )

Yes and thats my point. I was wearing a nice summery top, that wasn't low cut and my skirt was above the knee but not a mini skirt!! It doesn't seem to make much difference to some men! It may not have been a huge cheesecloth top, but thats because i don't like that sort of thing... why should I have to wear things I don't like?? (sorry didn't mean to go off in as mini rant :)))

Nah, that's cool, it's not hard to see where you're coming from, but sometimes it bugs me when women /do/ wear mini skirts and tiny tops and then don't understand why they draw the eye of the crowd :)

Fantastic blog background by the way - I love that picture you've got up there, and bloodied, black roses always work well.
