I just had the worst journey into work, ever!!
I got in here about 10 minutes ago, and considering I actually left my house at 7.40 thats a real pain in the arse!!
Firstly trains were cancelled due to overrunning engineering work on the line, so the first through train left the station around 8.25.
Then there is still engineering works at Victoria underground station so I couldn't get on the Victoria line
I had thought they'd re opened after Monday but I was wrong
Anyway, I am at work now.... still waiting for something and about to work *sigh*
Why am I working again?? When so many people are off!! I could have been one of them..... I wouldn't have been paid mind but I could still be in bed.... (ok maybe not, dad would have still got me up hours ago but its the whole principle of the thing 
)

Yeah, being at work and commuting at this time of year is tough.
(said he who was driven in from the suburbs of london in 20mins directly to his office, but will have to make his own way home somehow.)
